As of September 1, 2026
WBA ASIA maintains a commitment to formal operational procedures for boxing events, acting as a sport governance body. We recognize and collaborate with legitimate local professional boxing governance body, referred to as 'local commission', to ensure the proper exercise of authority and the safety of the sport.

Effective from 2026, for the approval of WBA ASIA titles, we will require boxers to submit profiles officially documented and stamped by the relevant local commission. This measure is implemented to guarantee the accuracy of information, given the prevalence of online disinformation.
