Tanes Ongjunta (10(5KOs)-1(1)-0, THA, WBA#7) successfully defended his WBA ASIA Flyweight title by stunning KO at 6R over experienced Jakrawut Majungoen (41(20KOs)-1(1)-0, THA). This was Tanes' biggest cornerstone in his boxing career and he successfully got KO victory. Through this victory, Tanes proved he is top class boxer in his division.

Jae-Woo Lee (8(7KOs)-3(0)-0, Kor) acquired WBA ASIA EAST Featherweight title over Jin-Wook Lee (10(3KOs)-7(3)-5, Kor) on April 30 by TKO 5R. Lee showed overwhelmed techniques with powerful punches and led to throw towel from Lim's corner.
In this division, we have scheduled fights for the regular title. Lee becomes one of competitors for it. We believe this division would be very competitive, and we could have great one as regular champion.

Weigh-in for WBA ASIA EAST Featherweight title in Cheon-an city, Korea. Jae-Woo Lee (125lbs) and Jin-Wook Lim (126lbs) successfully passed weigh-in. Also, Hyun-Chul Hwang who is president of Korea Boxing Management (KBM) and referee Byung-Mu Kim received certificate of appreciation by WBA ASIA in terms of their long term dedication to develop Korea boxing with WBA ASIA.

Upcoming May 7, 2022, we have very important fights for Thailand and WBA ASIA as well. Tanes Ongjunta (9(4KOs)-1(1)-0, WBA #8) will defend his WBA ASIA Flyweight title against experienced Jakrawut Majungoan (41(20KOs)-1(1)-1). This defense match would be the big adventure for Tanes for his future boxing career. Jakrawut could be classified as top class boxer and he has much more ring experience with good opponents. For Tanes, this could be a big test. Through his previous tough fights, Tanes became stronger and feels it is time to take this step to go up more. Currently, Tanes ranked #8 in WBA world ranking at Flyweight division.

WBA ASIA Light Flyweight title shot also will be happened in the same event. Thitisak Hoitong (2(1KO)-0(0)-0) is a former MuayThai boxer who has over 60 fights experience. Thitisak impressed boxing industry when he entered the boxing ring. The opponent is taller Kitidech Hirunsuk (8(5KOs)-1(0)-0) who becomes well known by challenge WBA ASIA Minimumweight on March in Vietnam. The fight was close fight and Kitidech showed his potential as well. He wants to challenge WBA ASIA again for Light Flyweight division. Our former WBA ASIA Light Flyweight champion Andika D'Golden Boy (Indonesia) is ready for our title and requests a plan to challenge against the winner of this fight.

Another prospect came up from Philippines! Chalie Suarez outclassed over taller opponent Tomjune Mangubat. Suarez won by TKO 12R against aggressive Mangubat. Famous Olympian, Suarez captured WBA ASIA Super Featherweight title. Within this division, many boxers are on the line for the chance to challenge WBA ASIA title. We firmly believe this division would be the most competitive for this year in WBA ASIA. Big congratulations Suarez and VSP Promotions.
Martin is successfully back to WBA ASIA with great fight!

Carl Jammes Martin took the toughest test in his boxing career in Manila, Philippines. Martin won by TKO 11R over Ronnie Baldonado. Ronnie knocked Carl down in 2nd round, and the fight was very close fight. Carl’s aggressive stance was successful, and Baldonado exhausted from 10R. Finally, referee Nowel Haduca stopped the fight, and Carl won by TKO. Through this winning, Carl became WBA ASIA Super Bantamweight champion. Big congratulations, and we truly appreciated both boxers for their great performance.
